Once the gas in the capsule is depleted, you must press the pressure indicator and release the residual gas. Otherwise, it will be very difficult to remove the cap where the CO2 capsule is inserted.

If you leave the capsule inserted and pierced, the gas may expand and damage the marker.

In this Generation 2 model, the capsule cap has a dual function: turning it to the left automatically purges the marker.
